Garlic and Herb Quinoa

Quinoa with garlic and herb makes a delicious and healthy side-dish

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup quinoa unprepared
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Rinse quinoa well with cold water. In a medium saucepan, add all ingredients and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let stand for approximately 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
