Cook Time 10 mins

Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground pork
  • 1 tbsp minced green onion
  • 2 eggs divided
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, green onion, 1 egg, salt, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and water using either your hands or a spoon.
  • Crack remaining egg into a small bowl and mix. Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface and line outer 4 edges with egg. Put about 1 tsp of the pork mixture in the center of the wonton wrapper, then pull all the sides of the wrapper over the mixture, and pinch together the top, making a small twist. It will look like a small sphere with a twisted stick at the top. Seal the twisted portion well with egg.
  • Deep fry for about 3-4 minutes in small batches, until the pork is cooked and the wrappers are golden brown. Drain on either a rack or paper towel to soak up the excess oil.
