You can easily make Chili cheese dogs just like from Dairy Queen (DQ) restaurant right in the convenience of your own home. These hot dogs are simply topped with homemade hot dog chili and shredded cheddar cheese. The chili can either be prepared in the pan on the stove top or in the slow cooker. The ground beef does not require any browning in the pan and can be added directly into the pan or slow cooker raw with the rest of the ingredients. The chili gets a lot of flavor from various seasonings such as chili powder, ketchup, mustard, and tomato sauce. I like to serve these chili cheese dogs with French fries.
