Eggnog French Toast

French Toast Made with Eggnog

Eggnog French Toast

What is even better for making French toast than milk is eggnog. Eggnog gives the French toast an amazing and rich flavor. This French toast is perfect for the holidays and is sure to impress. You will want to use thick sliced bread for this recipe such as Texas toast or you can slice a loaf of French bread into thick slices. The bread is dipped in a batter that is a simple combination of eggnog, eggs, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and nutmeg. I like to cook the French toast with butter on a griddle because I can prepare many slices at once. Once the French toast has finished cooking you can top it with your favorite French toast toppings such as butter and maple syrup.
