Chili with Tomato Sauce

Chili with Tomato Sauce

This is an easy chili recipe with tomato sauce and with no tomato paste. The great thing about this simple chili is that is requires very few ingredients without sacrificing that delicious chili taste. The chili is loaded with ground beef and beans. A lot of the flavor come from classic chili seasoning ingredients such as chili powder, cumin, and garlic. I like to add pinto beans to my chili but you could use chili beans as well. Once the chili has finished cooking you can top it off with cheddar cheese, sour cream, and green onions. You can also serve this chili with tortilla chips for dipping. This recipe calls for making the chili on the stovetop but I have made it in the slow cooker as well.
